Chap. 119.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of the Jacksonville reg-
ular Baptist church, of Floyd county, Virginia, to borrow money.
Approved March 5, 1877.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That George
Young, William T. Williams, G. A. Beamer, John H. Wil-
liamg, and Samuel Phleger, trustees of the Jacksonville reg-
ular Baptist church, of Floyd county, Virginia, be, and they
are hereby authorized to execute one or more deeds of trust
upon the property of said church, held by said trustees, for
the purpose of raising a sum of money not to exceed one
thousand dollars, to be used in defraying the expenses of
building and finishing said church. And the said trustees
are hereby authorized in raising such sum of money to pay
a rate of interest not exceeding eight per centum per annum.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
