Chap. 85.—An ACT to extend the Corporate Limits of the Town of
West Point.

Approved February 22, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section two of chapter three hundred and twenty-nine of
the act approved eleventh July, eighteen hundred and sev-
enty, entitled an act to incorporate the town of West Point,
be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

§ 2. The boundary of said town shall be as follows: Be-
ginning at the confluence of the Mattaponi and Pamunkey
rivers; thence up the Pamunkey river with the meanderings.
thereof to the line dividing the lands known as the Taylor
estate, and the lands of Robert EK. Lee; thence along the
said line between the lands of said Robert EK. Lee and the
Taylor estate; thence along the line between the Chelsea
estate and the Taylor estate to the Mattaponi river; thence
down the Mattaponi river with the meanderings thereof to
the place of beginning. :

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
