Chap. 59.—An ACT to authorize the Trustees of the Second Baptist
Church, colored; to Borrow Money on Trust Deed.

Approved February 10, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trus-
tees of the Second Baptist church, colored, of the city of
Richmond, be and they are hereby authorized to execute one
or more deeds of trust upon the church property, situated on
Byrd street, between First and Second streets, in the city of
Richmond, held by the said trustees, for the purpose of rais-
ing a sum of money not to exceed five thousand dollars, to
defray the costs and charges of certain improvements re-
cently, or now being put on said property; and the said trus-
tees are hereby authorized, in raising such sum of money, to
pay a rate of interest not exceeding ten per centum per
annum.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.,
