Chap. 58.—An ACT to amend the second section of an Act to Exempt
the Property of the Husband or Wife from the Ante-Nuptial Debts
of the other, Approved March thirty-one, eighteen hundred and sev-
enty-five.

Approved February 10, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the second
section of an act to exempt the property of the husband or
wife from the ante-nuptial debts of the other, passed March
thirty-one, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, be amended
and re-enacted to read as follows:

§ 2. That all the property of the wife acquired after the
passage of this act by gift, grant, devise, bequest,.descent, or
from any source other than from her husband, shail also be
subject to the provisions hereof, although said marriage was
solemnized before the passage of this act.

2. This act shal! be in force from its passage.
