Chap. 3.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to Au-
thorize the Board of Supervisors of York County ti Borrow Money
to Rebuild the Courthouse, Jail, and Clerk’s Office of said County,
approved February second, eighteen hundred and seventy-five.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the first section of an act entitled an act to authorize the
board of ‘supervisors of York county to borrow money to re-
build the courthouse, jail, and clerk’s office of said county,.
approved February second, eighteen hundred and seventy-
five, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,.
That it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of York
county to borrow money to an amount not exceeding thirty-
five hundred dollars, on such terms, and at such rates of in-
terest not exceeding ten per centum per annum, as said
board may deem most expedient, for the purpose of rebuild-
ing the courthouse, jail, and clerk’s office of said county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
