Chap. 260.—An ACT to authorize the Trustees of the Parsonage of the
Estillville Circuit of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, to sell
their Parsonage.

Approved March 29, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trustees
of the parsonage of the Hstillville circuit of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, south, be and they are hereby authorized
to sell the parsonage property of the said circuit, situated in
the town of Nickellsville, Scott county, Virginia, either at
public or private sale as they may deem best, and the pur-
chaser or purchasers at such sale shall, when a conveyance
is made in pursuance of this act, be invested with the title to
said property: provided, that the proceeds arising from the
sale of said parsonage shall be used in purchasing or building
another parsonage for said circuit.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
