Chap. 218.—An ACT for the Protection of Deer in the Counties of
Scott, Wise, and Buchanan.
Approved March 29, 1876.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall not
be lawful forgany person to run or chase deer with dogs, in
the counties of Scott, Wise, and Buchanan. Any person
violating this law shall be fined twenty dollars, to be recov-
ered before any justice of the peace in said counties. This
fine shall be paid into the county treasury for county pur-
poses, except so much of it as is necessary to defray the ex-
pense of arresting and trying such offenders.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
