Chap. 153.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act for
the Removal of Weirs and Hedges in Rappahannock Creek, approved
Q anuary eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-five.
Approved March 18, 1876.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembiy, That the act
approved January the eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-
five, entitled an act for the removal of weirs and hedges in
Rappahannock creek, be amended aud re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
§ 1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall not be lawful to set or keep a weir or hedge in Rap-
pabannock creek, in thé county of Richmond, after the first
day of December, and before the thirty-first of December in
any year. Any one violating the provisions of this act shall
pay a fine of not less than five nor more than twenty dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
