Chap. 144.—An ACT to authorize the trustees of Saint George Episco-
pal church, at Fredericksburg, Virginia, to borrow money.

Approved March 17, 1876"

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trustees
of Saint George Episcopal church, at Fredericksburg, Vir-
ginia, be and they are hereby authorized to borrow, from
time to time, a sum or sums of money, not to exceed in the
aggregate, the sum of five thousand dollars, and at a rate of
interest not to exceed eight per centum per annum; that for
the said sum or sums of money, the said trustees are bereby
authorized to issue bonds and secure the same by trust or
otherwise upon the church property, real and personal.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
