Chap. 109.—An ACT appropriating money for the Extension of the
Western and Eastern Lunatic Asylums.

Approved March 10, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the sum
of forty thousand dollars be and is hereby dppropriated to
the Western lunatic asylum, and the like sum to the Eastern
lunatic asylum, to be paid out of any money in the treasury,
not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of enlarging the
capacity of each, so as to accommodate the insane of the
commonwealth. |

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
