Chap. 98.—An ACT to Provide an Artificial Leg for A. J. Nunn.

Whereas it is represented to the general assembly, That
A. J. Nunn, of Patrick county, a native-born citizen of this
commonwealth, enlisted in the service of the Confederate
States during the war and lost a leg in the service, and now
resides and has resided since the close of the war in this
state; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the board
for the supply of artificial limbs is hereby authorized and
directed to issue to A. J. Nunn an artificial leg, or commuta-
tion therefor, upon production of a certificate from the county
jadge of Patrick county that the applicant is a resident of
his county and lost a leg while serving in the Confederate
army.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
