Chap. 72.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact Section 25 of Chapter 158
of the Code of 18738, so as to increase the pay of Grand Juries.

Approved February 28, 1874.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly, That the twenty-
fifth section of chapter one hundred and fifty-eight of the
Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended
and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:

§ 25. Every person who shall serve upon a grand jury
shall be entitled to receive one dollar for each day’s service
on such jury, to be paid out of the county or corporation
levy. :

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
