Chap. 51.—JOINT RESOLUTION Appointing a Joint Committee to
whom shall be Referred all Matters Relating to the late Defalcation
in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Commissioners of the
Sinking Fund.

Approved February 17, 1874.

Resolved (the senate concurring), That a joint committee
be appointed to consist of three members on the part of the
house and two on the part of the senate, to whom shall be
referred so much of the communication of the governor as
relates to the late defalcation which has occurred in the office
of the secretary of the board of commissioners of the sinking
fund, and all matters connected with said defalcation, and
that said committee be authorized to employ an expert (if
they deem it necéssary), and to send for persons and papers.
