Chap. 333.—An ACT to amend an Act entitled 4n Act to Incorpo-
rate The Richmond Harmonic Association, and to Change the Name
Thereof.

Be it enacted by the general assembly, That an act to in-
corporate The Richmond Harmonic Association, passed March
the twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, be amegded
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, Tbat
Oharles L. Siegel, president; William Zimmermann, vice-presi-
dent; M. Schaap, secretary; J. Ebel, cashier; B. Brauer, treas-
urer, and A. Moll, librarian, and their associates, be and the
same are hereby constituted a body politic and corporate,
under the name and style of The Gesang Verein Virginia,
and by that name and style ehall have all the powers and be
Qyect to all the general restrictions provided by the Code Cor
’ Virginia (edition of eighteen hundred and seventy-three), °™
- that may have been heretofore or may hereafter be enacted
y the goneral assembly in regard to such bodies politic and
>¥porate.
2. The maximum capita, of said corporation shall not ex- Cap
>ed fitty thousand dollars, and the said capital stock shall
® divided into shares of not less than twenty dollars each,
ad it shall be lawful for said corporation to call for and de- sub
.and from the stockholders respectively, all sams of money ™¥
y tbem subseribed at such time and in such proportions as

emedies provided by law in respect to other incorporated
