Chap. 288.—An ACT making Additional Appropriation to the Central
Lunatic Asylum, upon Certain Conditions.
Approved April 29, 1874.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the sum of
twenty-five hundred dollars be and the same is hereby appro-
priated out of any money in the treasury not otherwise ap-
ropriated, for the purpose of erecting a ward in the Central
Fanatic Asylum: provided, however, that no portion of said
sum shall be expended in repairs to the buildings already ex-
isting: and provided further, that the directors of the said
institution shall obtain from the lessors thereof the right to
remove, or sell the buildings erected under the provisions of
this act.
2. This act?shall be in force from its passage.

within one year after the work and labor shall have been
oerformed, and pay the compensation therefor, for such
watchmaker, jeweler, or other bailee, after advertising a list
»f the same, for thirty days, in same newspaper published in
she county, city or town, or if no newspaper be published
therein, after posting said list for thirty days, in one or more
public places in such county, city, or town, to sell such arti-
clos at public auction, and after paying all sums that may be
due thereon, to turn over the residue, if any, to the owners
of such articles.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
