Chap. 260.—An ACT authorizing Register of Land Office to correct
Error in Land Warrant.

Whereas, on the twenty-first day of June, eighteen hun-
red and fifty-one, a land office treasury warrant for two
housand acres, number nineteen thousand four hundred and
hirty-two, was issued by the register of the land office of
he state of Virginia, to B. R. Linkous; and whereas, it ap-
‘ears to the satisfaction of the general assembly of the state
f Virginia, from the records in the office of said register,
hat the said land office treasury warrant appears to have
»een issued to B. K. Linkous instead of B. R. Linkous; and
v hereas, it further appears to the satisfaction of the general
ussembly that the initial “K” in the name of said Linkous
s amere clerical error, and there is no B. K. Linkous, and
‘hat it ought to have been entered upon the records of said
and office, and in said land office treasury warrant as B. R.
Linkous; therefore
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the register of said land office be and is hereby directed to
correct the error in said name, and to make it B. R. Linkous.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. ‘
