Chap. 245.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the 7th Section of Chapter
100 of Code of 1878, Prohibiting non-residents from Taking or Catch-
ing Fish.in the Waters of this Commonwealth.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That c
section seven of chaper one hundred of the Code of eighteen ©
hundred and seventy-three, be amended and re-enacted SO a i
to read as follows: °

Ҥ 7. That non-residents are hereby prohibited from taking F
or catching fish in any of the waters of this commonwealth, =
with purse-nets, seines, pound-nets, or in any other way than i
by a line held in the hand, or attached to a rod or pole held i
in the hand.”

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. C
