Chap. 224.—An ACT to Authorize The Lynchburg and Campbell:
Courthouse Turnpike Company to Transfer to the City of Lynchburg,
the portion of said Turnpike road which lies within the limits of said
city.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall bec
awfal for The Lynchburg and Campbell Courthouse Tarn- }
ike Company to transfer to, and for the city of Lynchburg r
o receive and thereafter have control and management of !
hat portion of said turnpike road which lies within the limits ¢
f said city, upon such terms as may be agreed upon between
aid company and said city: provided, it shail be stipulated
n such transfer that the portion of said turnpike thus trans- 7
erred, shall ever be kept in the order required by the char-
er of said company.
