Chap. 125.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact the 31st section of the
108th chapter of the Code of 1878, relative to Proceedings on a Caveat.
Approved March 24, 1874.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section
thirty-one of chapter one hundred and eight of the Code of.
eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended and re-.
enacted to read as follows: |
“§ 31. The said clerk shall enter such copy of the caveat.
in a book to be kept by him for that purpose, and shall issue
& summons reciting the cause for which the caveat is entered,
and requiring the defendant to appear on the first day of the
next term of the circuit court and defend his right.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
