Chap. 105.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact section 19 of chapter 77
of the Code of Virginia (edition cf 1873), concerning the Board of
Visitors of the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and the
Board of Curators of the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Insti-
tute.

Chapter77,0f 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section nine-
Code of 1878, teen of chapter seventy-seven of the Code of Virginia (edition
teen, amended. of eighteen hundred and seventy-three), be amended and re-
y enacted so as to read as follows:
Visitors of Vir- Ҥ 19. On the first day of January, eighteen hundred and

four; three, to be designated second class, shall continue in
office until the first day of January, eighteen hundred and
seventy-five; and the remaining three, to be designated as
third class, shall continue in office until the first day of Jan-
uary, eighteen hundred and seventy-six; and annually, on
the first day of January, the governor shall appoint three
persons to fill the vacancies so occasioned in the board of
, visitors, who shall continue in office three years, or until the
