Chap. 102.—An ACT to Authorize the Trustees of the Town of Banis-
ter to elect a President, who shall act as Mayor, and to elect a Ser-
geant for said Town.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trus- t
ees of the town of Banister shall, upon taking the oath pre- %
cribed by law, enter upon the duties of their offices, and may at
lect one of their number president, who shall act as mayor «
f the said town till the next regular election, in May, eigh-
een hundred and seventy-four; and the said board may elect T
, town sergeant, who shall act as such until his successor is *
lected and qualified.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. C
