Chap. 85.—JOINT RESOLUTION Memorializing Congress in refer-
ence to the Tax on Circulating Medium.
Approved February 5, 1875.
Resolved (the house of delegates concurring), That our
senators in congress be instructed, and our members of the
house of representatives be requested to use their influence
to procure the passage of a law repealing that clause of the
national banking law, which imposes a tax of ten per centam
on any circulating medium than that authorized by congress.
2. That the executive of this state communicate the adop-
tion of these resolutions to our senators and representatives
in congress.
