Chap. 52.—An ACT for re-arranging the dates for the ending of the
School Year, the making of Annual Reports by School Officera, and
the holding of the Annual Meeting of the County School Board.
Approved January 19, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That hereafter
the school year (including the present) shall end July thirty-
first, instead of August thirty-first, as heretofore.
2. The annual report required by law to be made by the
clerk of the district school board. shall be delivered to the
county superintendent on or before August fifteenth; the
report pf the county school board shall be delivered on or
before the same date, and the annual report of the county
(or city) superintendent of schools shall be delivered td the
superintendent of public instruction on or before September
tenth in cach year.
3. The regular annual meeting of tho eounty sehool board
shall be held between the first and fifteenth of August.
4. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act are
hereby repealed.
5. This act shall be in force from its passage.
Chap. 52.—JOINT RESOLUTION in relation to Printing Annual
Reports of the Lunatic Asylums, and Deaf, Dumb and Blind Inatitute.

Resolved by the general assembly, That the superinten-
dent of public printing be, and he is hereby instructed here-
after to print not more than five hundred additional copies
to those already authorized by Jaw, of the annual reports of
the several lunatic asylums, nor more than eight hundred
copies of the annual report of the deaf, dumb and blind insti-
tute, on the order of the superintendent or board of each—
the same to be ordered in time to be printed upon the forms
that are used for printing the reports for the general assem-
bly; so that in no event shall the state be charged but for
one composition.
