Chap. 350.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of chapter 13 of
the Code of 1878, in relation to Salaries of certain Officers of Govern-
ment.

Approved March 3}, 1875.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section one
of chapter thirtecn of the Code of eighteen hundred and
seventy-three, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as
follows:

§ 1. The governor, the sum of five thousand dollars; the
secretary of the commonwealth, twenty-five hundred dollars;
the assistant clerk, sixteen hundred dollars; and the copying
clerk, thirteen hundred dollars. *And the act charging upon
the public treasury certain allowance heretofore authorized
to be made out of the literary fund, is hereby repealed.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
