Chap. 33.—An ACT for the relief of Stafford G. Cooke.
Approved January 15, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the audi-
tor of public accounts be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to pay S. G. Cooke, out of any money in the trea-
aury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred
and six dollars and seventy-one cents, that being the amount
of taxes assessed against and paid upon his farms “ Newmans”’
and “‘Kdgehill,” situated in the county of York, for the years
eighteen hundred and sixty-five, eighteen hundred and sixty-
six, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, eighteen hundred and
sixty-eight, eighteen hundred and sixty-nine, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, and eighteen hundred and seventy-one,
the said farms having been withheld from him by such power
as the state could not resist.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. .
