Chap. 311.—An ACT to incorporate The Bridzewater Lodge, No. 120,
Independent Order of Odd-Fellows.
Approved March 80, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
D. A. Bucher, J. D. Bucher, James D. Dinkle, David Link,
A. D. Lindsey, J. H. Lindsey, William H. Groves, W. H.
Karickhofe, William H. Bricker, P. H. Snyder, ‘A. Niswan-
der, J. B. Dixon, William C. Dixon, H. Smalls, George Sheets,
George W. Murray, P. C. Bowman, N. K. Idson, J. G. Minor,
and M. H. Rodgers, and such other persons as are now or
may hereafter be regularly associated with them, be and
they are hereby incorporated and made a body politic and
corporate, under the name and style of Bridgewater Lodge,
number one hundred and twenty, Independent Order of
Odd-Fellows, situated in the town of Bridgewater, county
of Rockingham, state of Virginia, and by that name shall
have perpetual succession and a common seal; may sue an
be sued, plead and be impleaded; may purchase and hold t
them and their successors any lands, tenements, chattel
and goods of whatsoever kind as may be conducive to th
objects of such association, not to exceed in value fiftee:

2. It shall be lawful for the said lodge to borrow a sur
not exceeding ten thousand dollars, at a rate not exceedin:
