Chap. 274.—An ACT to Punish Unlawful Dealing in Pig Iron and
Railroad Iron by Irresponsible Persons.
Approved March 29, 1875.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
any person receiving or buying pig iron or railroad iron of
any description from any one except the manufacturers, their
authorized agents, or regular licensed dealers in the same,
unless the seller furnish truo and sufficient evidence of right-
ful possession, shall be guilty of a felony on conviction
thereof, and shall be confined in the penitentiary not less
than one year nor more than two years.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
