Chap. 26.—An ACT for the removal of Weirs and Hedges in Rappa-
hannock Creek.
Approved January 8, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That it shall not be lawful to set or keep a weir or hedge in
Rappahannock creek, in the county of Richmond, after the
first day of July and before the thirty-first of December, in
any year. Any one violating the provisions of this act shall
pay a fine of not less than five nor more than twenty dollars.
2 This act shall be in force from its passage.
