Chap. 216.—An ACT to Pay John O. Steger for Services in Investi-
gating the Basement Offices of the Capitol.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the audi-
tor of public accounts be, and he is hereby directed to issue
a warrant on the treasury, payable out of any money therein
not otherwise appropriated, in favor of John O. Steger, or
his legal representative, for the sum of fifteen hundred dol-
lars, in full for his services in investigating the basement
offices of the capitol, as authorized by the governor and
treasurer, in conformity with a joint resolution agreed to by
the gencral assembly.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
