Chap. 209.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the second section of an
Act approved March 28, 1873, entitled an Act to amend and re-enact
second section of an Acta proved March 22, 1871, entitled an Act to
incorporate The Town of Blacksburg, in the County of Montgomery.
Approved March 15, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the second
section of an acf approved March twenty-eighth, eighteen
hundred and seventy-three, entitled an act to amend and re-
enact the second section of an uct to incorporate The Town
of Blacksburg, in the county of Montgomery, approved
March twenty-second, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, be
amended and re-enacted go as to read as follows:
§ 2. The mayor and council now in office, and their suc-
cessors elected according to section fifteen, chapter fifty-four
of the Code, edition of eighteen hundred and seventy-three,
and qualified according to the twenty-third section of said
chapter, shall constitute the council of said town, and shall
have and exercise all the powers, and be subject to all the
provisions of said Code, in reference tu the government of
towns of Jess than five thousand inhabitants.
2. Ibis act shall be in force from its passage.
