Chap. 208.—An ACT to amend and re-enact Section 6, Chapter 44,
Code of 1873, in reference to Mode of Recovering Claims against the
Stute.
Approved March 15, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That section
six of chapter forty-four, title fifteen of the Code of Virginia
(edition of eighteen hundred and seventy-three), be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 6. No judgment or decree against the commonwealth
shall be paid without a special appropriation therefor by law.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
