Chap. 2.—An ACT authorizing the trustees of the Centenary Methodist
Episcopal church, south, to borrow money.

Approved December 12, 1874.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the trus-
tees of the Centenary Methodist church, south, of the city of
Richmond, be and they are hereby authorized to execute one
or more deeds of trust upon the church property, on Grace
street, in the city of Richmond, held by'said trustees, for the
purpose of raising a sum of money not to exceed ten thou-
sand dollars, to defray the costs and charges of certain im-
provements now being put on said property; and the said
trustees are hereby authorized, in raising such sum of money,
to pay a rate of interest not exceeding eight per centum per
annum.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
