Chap. 169.—An ACT for tho Relief of Philip Timbers, of Culpeper
County.
Approved March 16, 1875.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the auditor of public accounts be, .and he is heréby in-
structed to issue his warrant on the treasury in favor of
Philip Timbers for the sum of fifty dollars (to be paid out
of money not otherwise appropriated), it being the balance
due him of a reward of one hundred dollars offered for the
apprehension of one Abner Gentry, a convict who escaped
from the jail of Culpeper county, and who wae arrested and
delivertd tothe authorities ot Virginia through the aid and
instrumentality of said Philip Timbers.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
