Chap. 144.—An ACT Authorizing the Trustees of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church (North) at Staunton, to sell a Portion of their Real Es-
tate. .
Approved March 8, 1875.
Whereas, the trustees and congregation of the Methodist
Episcopal church (north), at Staunton, known as the Jobn
Wesley chapel, desire to make sale of a part of the real es-
tate belonging to said congregation,
» 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal church (north), at
Staunton, known as the John Wesley chapel, have power to
sell and convey one-half of the real estate belonging to the
said church and congregation, in the town of Staunton, the
proceeds of sale to be applied to the improvement of the said
church property.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
