Chap. 133.—An ACT for the Relief otf William W. Sage, late Sheriff
of Lee County, and his Securities.
Approved March 1, 1875.
Wheréas William W. Sage, late sheriff of Lee county, is
now wholly insolveut and having incurred liabilities to the
commonwealth as such sheriff to the amount of about
thirty-five hundred dollars; and whereas Harrison Sage, the
son of the said William W. Sage, proposes to pay said in-
debtedness in full in state bonds, at their face value, with
eoupons attached receivable for taxes; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Harrison
Sage or William W. Sage, late sheriff of Lee county, or his
securities, be and they are hereby permitted to pay and dis-
charge any judgment or liabilities they may owe to the
commonwealth in bonds of this state, at their face value,
with coupons attached, receivable in payment of taxes and
other public dues.
