Chap. 91.—An ACT to Incorporate the Mangorike Wharf Company, on
the Rappahannock River,
In force February 17, 1873.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
H. A. Tayloe, A. N. Wellford, Samuel Barron, jr., William N.
Harris, L. R. Stewart, George W. Sydnor, Fred. Settle, J. A.
Settle, William H. Hall, H. H. Cole, G. R. Sydnor, T. M. Omo-
hundro, R. C. Belfield, and J. M. Brockenbrough, their asso-
ciates and successors, shall be and they are hereby incorporated
and made a body politic and corporate, under the name and
style of the Mangorike Wharf Company, for the purpose of
erecting a wharf on the Rappahannock river: provided, that
the capital stock of this company shall not exceed four thou-
sand dollars; and provided further, the navigation of said
river shall not be impeded thereby. Said company shall be
invested with all the rights, powers and privileges conferred,
and be subject to all the regulations of law imposed, by the
Code of Virginia of eighteen hundred and sixty, and to repeal
or alteration by the legislature.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
