Chap. 355.—An ACT for the Relief of William P. Bogle, Elias Harman
and Franklin G. Helvey.

In force April 2, 1873.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the county treasurer of Bland county be hereby authorized
and directed to refund to Elias Harman and Franklin G. Hel-
vey, sureties of William P. Bogle, late collector of Mechanics-
burg township, in said county, the full amount of damages col-
lected from them by virtue of executions issuing from the
county court of said county against William P. Bogle, Elias
Harman and Franklin G. Helvey.

2. That such costs and damages be abated in any suit or
suits now pending against the said William P. Bogle, Elias
Harman and Franklin G. Helvey, in which they have not al-
ready paid said costs and damages.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
