Chap. 350.—An ACT to Authorize the Board of Snvervisors of the Sev-
eral Counties to Appoint a Physician and Nurse to Attend the Poor,
and to Kegulate their Compensation.

Approved April 1, 1873.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of the several counties may appoint
a physician and nurse to attend the poor at the place of gen-
eral reception of such county, and shall allow them such com-
pensation therefor as to them may seem reasonable.

2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are
hereby repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
