Chap. 331.—An ACT to Incorporate the Augusta Paper Mill Company.
Approved March 31, 1873.
1. Be it enacted by the generalassembly, That F. T. Sheets,
N. K. Trout, Charles C. Wheat, John W. Alby, Philip H. Trout,
and such other persons as may hereafter be associated with
them, shall be and they are hereby incorporated and made a
body politic and corporate, by the name and style of the Au-
gusta Paper Mill Company, for the purpose of manufacturing
paper in the county of Augusta; and said company shall be
invested with all the rights, powers and privileges conferred
and be subject to all rules, reeulations and restrictions imposed
by the Code of Virginia in relation to joint stock companies.
2. That the capital stock of said company shall not be less
than five nor more than fifty thousand dollars to be divided
into shares of twenty-five dollars each.
3. The said company shall have power to purchase and hold
land not exceeding two hundred acres, and to erect such build-
ings and machinery thereon as they may deem proper and
necessary for the manufacture, preservation or sale of paper.
4, This act shall be in force from its passage.
