Chap. 3.—An ACT Declaring Valid the Assessment of Real Estate, and
the Collection of Taxes on the same, under the act in force January
twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy-two.

1. Bo it enacted by the general assembly, That the valuation
of real estate, as ascertained and fixed by the courts upon
appeals taken under the provisions of an act in force January «
the twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, entitled |
“an act to amend and re-enact section five of an act approved ‘
July ninth, eighteen hundred and seventy, entitled an act to :
reassess the lands throughout the commonwealth,” and the |
assessment and collection of taxes thereon, are hereby confirmed
and declared to be as valid as if such appeals had been taken
according to law. |

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. (
