Chap. 140.—An ACT Declaring a Portion of Smith’s Creek and Cohoon’s
Creek a Lawful Fence.
Approved March 8, 1873.
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Smith’s
creek, from Pitchkettle wharf to its junction with the Nanse-
mond river, and Cohoon’s creek, from Wright's lower landing
to its junction with the Nansemond river, in the county of
Nansemond, be declared a lawful fence.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
