Chap. 138.—An ACT Declaring Smith’s River in the County of Henry
a Lawful Fence.

Approved March 8, 1873.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Smith’s s
river, in the county of Henry, from Basdell’s ford down the {}
same as it meanders to the North Carolinia line, be and the »
same is hereby declared a lawful fence, except so much of the “
banks and beds of said river embraced within the space occu-
pied by the fords of the public roads crossing said river and
the free bridge crossing the same.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage. c
