Chap. 132.—An ACT to Repeal the Act entitled an Act to Amend and Re-
enact Section 12 of Chapter 34 of Code of 1860, in relation to certain
Debts due the Virginia Military Institute, approved March 4th, 1871,
and to Re enact the said Section of the said Chapter of the Code.
Approved March 8, 1873.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the act enti-
tled an act to amend and re-enact section twelve of chapter
thirty-four of the Code of eighteen hundred and sixty, in rela-
tion to certain debts due the Virginia Military Institute, ap-
proved March fourth, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, shall
be and the same is hereby repealed; and the said section of the
said chapter of the Code is hereby re-enacted as follows:
§ 12. They shall prescribe the terms upon which cadets may
be admitted, their number, the course of their instruction, the
nature of their service and the duration thereof, which shall not
be less than two nor more than five years. All so admitted
shall make full compensation, except such as are provided for
in the following section. .
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
