Chap. 109.—An ACT Refunding Tax Erroneously Assessed on the Union
Lead Mine Company.
In force March 3, 1873.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to issue his warrant on the treasury, payable out of any money
not otherwise appropriated, in favor of the Union Lead Mine
Company, for the sum of one hundred and fourteen dollars
and fifty-three cents, on account of land tax improperly and
erroneously assessed against said company in the county of
Wythe, and paid by said company for the years eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-seven, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, eighteen
hundred and fifty-nine, eighteen hundred and sixty, eighteen
hundred and sixty-five, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, eigh-
teen hundred and sixty-seven, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, eighteen hundred and sixty-nine, eighteen hundred and
seventy, and eighteen hundred and seventy-one.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
