Chap. 73.—An ACT Respecting Special Meetings of the Board of Direct-
ors of the Valley Railroad Company, and to make Valid certain Acts of
said Company.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of directors of the Valley rail.
road company to hold special meetings for business at such
place in this state other than that at which its prizicipal office may
be, or in the city of Baltimore, as the president or board may
appoint, and all acts of said company in respect to the organi-
zation and business thereof, heretofore done, whether per-
formed in meetings of stockholders or of the board of direct-
ors, without this state, shall be legal and valid. But no meet-
ing of the stockholders of said company shall henceforth be
held elsewhere than in this commonwealth.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
