Chap. 373.—An ACT to Abolish the Writ of Elegit.
Approved March 26, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That from and
after this date no writ of elegit shall issue upon any judgment
heretofore or hereafter rendered for money or for the recovery
of specific property.
2. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions
of this are hereby repealed.
, 8. This act shall be in force from its passage.
