Chap. 295.—An ACT to Amend and Re enact the Ist Section of an Act
Entitled an Act to Incorporate the Richmond Land, Mining and Manu-
facturing Company, passed March Ist, 1867,
In force March 26, 1872.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the first see-
tion of an act entitled an act to incorporate the Richmond
Land, Mining and Manufacturing Company passed March first,
eighteen hundred and sixty seven, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
“s 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That E. S. Hamlin, C. C. McRae. T. H.W ynne, W. I. "Gid-
dings, Chas. H. Greene, Thos. Tabb and H. C. Ulman, their
associates and successors, be and are hereby incorporated and
made a body politic and corporate under the name and style
of the Richmond Land and Financial Company, subject how-
ever to all the provisions of chapters fifty-six and fifty-seven of
the Code of Virginia, (edition of eighteen hundred and sixty),
applicable to corporations of this character and not inconsistent
with this act.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
