in the County of Hanover to Lay off Townships into Election Districts.
Approved March 21, 1872.
Whereas, the county court of Hanover county has reduced
the number of townships in the said county from five to three,

the county judge of Hanover county shall appoint in each of
the new townships of said county three discreet persons, resi-
dent thereof, who shall proceed forthwith to designate by pro-
per and well-defined boundaries the election district of each
voting*place within their township; and they shall, at the earliest
practicable day thereafter, make a written report, describing as
accurately as they can the boundaries of every such voting
district, and make return thereof to the clerk’s office of their
county court. The clerk of said court immediately thereupon
shall furnish the registrars in each township with a copy of the
boundaries of each voting precinct in said township, and the
said registrars shall, under the registration acts heretofore
passed, proceed to enroll the voters in their several districts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
