Chap. 26.—An ACT to Authorize the Seaboard and Roanoke Company to
Acquire an Interest in Connecting Railroads.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the Seaboard and Roanoke Railroad Com
pany, with authority from the state of North Carolina, tc
acquire and hold an interest in any railroad connecting there
with or branching therefrom in said state.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
