Chap. 246.—An ACT to Amend and Re-enact an Act entitled an Act to
Prescribe the Times for the Holling of the Terms of the Circuit Courts
of the State, Approved July Eleventh, Eighteen Hundred and Seventy,
which Last Act was Approved February Third, Eighteen Hundred and
Seventy-one, so as to ‘ hange the 'Times for Holding the Terms of the
Circuit Court in the Fifth, Tenth and Fourteenth Circuits, in Force
March Nineteenth, Eighteen Hundred and Seventy-two.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the act enti-
tled an act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to pre-
scribe the times for the holding of the terms of the circuit
courts of the state, approved July eleventh, eighteen hundred
and seventy, which last act was approved February third,
eighteen hundred and seventy-one, so as to change the times
r holding the terms of the circuit court in the
1d fourteenth circuits, in force March nineteent
undred and seventy-two, be amended and re-enact
ad as follows:

2. That all causes and mattcrs now pending in the circuit
court for the county of James City, and all causes and matters
now pending in the circuit court for the city of Williamsburg,
and all causes and matters which were pending in the old cir-
cuit court for the city of Williamsburg and county of James
City, at the time of the passaze of the act approved July elev-
enth, eighteen hundred and seventy, prescribing the times for
the holding of the terms of the circuit courts of the state,
shall be transferred to the circuit court for the county of James
City and city of Williamsburg, and shall be docketed and heard
and determined in the last mentioned court.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
